Smoky Mountain Geek Expo is Waynesville, NC’s first comic and geek convention. Our 2023 event will be at the Smoky Mountain Event Center on October 19. A wide variety of artists and vendors, comics, toys, video games, original artwork, collectible card gaming, anime, etc. Cosplay contests and gaming areas have been added this year! Retropalooza

Louisiana Retro Con is a video game-focused convention that celebrates all things within the gaming spectrum. The event also showcases local artists, comic book authors, toy/comic vendors, and many more exhibits relevant to nerd culture. Proudly maintaining a very family-friendly setting, Louisiana Retro Con is a fun event for all age groups. Our next big event is LOUISIANA RETRO CON FALL 2024, set to be taking place on September 14th (10:30 AM - 6:30 PM), and September 15th (11 AM - 5 PM) 2024 in the spacious Morgan City Municipal Auditorium.
